On a beautiful Saturday morning, Dave and I decided to take advantage of some VIP passes that a patient had given me to attend the Chihuly exhibit at the DeYoung Museum in Golden Gate park. Chihuly is a contemporary artist who works with glass and light. Those of you who have been to the Bellagio in Vegas might recognize the work. It was a truly spectacular exhibit that is hard to do any justice to with pictures. Before heading into the museum, Dave and I had a wonderful brunch on an outdoor patio at Park Chow. The day was beautiful and warm. We even had ice cream after the museum to celebrate the Indian summer day.

Here is the whole display of these Indian pots.

This is actually a full size row boat full of glass structures of all shapes and sizes.

This is standing and looking up at the ceiling above us. The whole room was this glass ceiling.
