Golden State Warriors versus Supersonics

On Wednesday night, Dave and I went to the Golden State Warriors last season game in Oakland. It was a fun experience as I have not been to an NBA game since high school. I didn't want to take the chance that my camera would not be let in the coliseum, so I didn't take it. Unfortunately, the Warriors lost the game, but it was fun none the less.

Giants versus Diamondbacks

On Monday April 14th, Megan, her friend Michael, Dave and I went to the Giants game at Pac Bell Park. I throughly enjoyed the company. I do have to say that it was by far the coldest game I have ever attended. I had a short sleeve shirt, two long sleeve shirts, a sweatshirt, a jacket and a blanket over our legs. Thank you to Megan for getting the tickets for us!

6 Month Wedding Anniversay

On Sunday, April 13th, Dave and I celebrated our 6 month wedding anniversary. We went out for coffee and brunch and did a crossword puzzle. In the afternoon we headed back to the basketball court where Dave and I had our second date. We again played 3 games horse and the outcome was the same as 2.5 years ago. :)
On Sunday night, we came home and made dinner together. We had halibut steaks, salad, asparagus and bread. We had a lovely bottle of wine and ended with some mint cookie ice cream. Yum! It was a great day and a wonderful way to celebrate. By the time I remembered to take a picture, Dave and I were in our pajamas. Guess you will have to look at the dinner instead. :)

Girls shopping day!

Last Saturday, April 12th, Megan, Melissa and I headed out for a shopping trip. We went to brunch first to down some coffee and food to energize ourselves before heading to Union Square. It was a fun and productive day! Good job ladies!

Mini Wednesday Night Dinner

On Wednesday April 9th, we had dinner at Greens Restaurant in Fort Mason with Dave, Lynna, Emmett, Emily and Emmet. Greens is a vegetarian restaurant with a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a wonderful dinner, exceptional company and a stellar sunset!

Ski Weekend In Tahoe

This past weekend (April 4-6th) we headed up to Tahoe to spend a weekend in the snow. Well, sort of anyway. Kevin, Megan, Dave and I drove up on Friday afternoon with Melissa and Todd only a sort time behind us. Thanks to Kevin, we had a fun house around Carnelian Bay. The best part was definitely the hot tub! On Saturday, we went to Squaw to ski or snowboard for the day. It turned out to be much better conditions than I thought. Tahoe hasn't gotten any snow in a long time, but it was actually warm enough that the ice turned to slush and it was a fun day. On Sunday, we headed to El Dorado county for some wine tasting. It was a really fun get away!!

We made burritos at home on Friday night. Kevin's was impressive!

Melissa enjoying her cerveza and burrito

Todd decided the getting up to get a wine glass for the last bit of wine was too much work.

What a cute couple. :)

Kevin is ready for more.

It felt nice to sit in the sun.

Only a few hours to go before hitting the hot tub!

The idea is to get in it Kevin, not sit on top. :)

The last sweep of the house on Sunday morning.

Heading out of Tahoe.

At the first winery, Todd and Dave decided to taste the beer instead of the wine.

The rest of us went with the wine tasting.

Lovely picnic lunch at a winery. LOVE leftovers!

GQ here he comes!

Here is a picture of my handsome husband in his new rags as he heads off to an interview. Unfortunately, the new shirt and tie came from the devil store (Macy's), but we had to spend a gift certificate somehow right. I think the final product justifies it.

Dinner with the Matt, Abby, Evan and Megan

On Wednesday, April 2, Megan, Abby, Matt, Evan, Dave and I met for dinner at Chevy's on the Embarrcadero. It was a relaxing and fun night! I just can't help taking pictures more pictures of Evan. His parents should collect royalties!

Evan Haynes' Dedication

On Sunday March 30th, Dave and I went to Abundant Life Christian Fellowship (the church I have attended on and off for the past 7 years) to witness the dedication to the church of Evan Haynes. After the services, we went to Heather and Trevor's house to have a BBQ with Matt, Abby, Evan, Megan, Matt's parents, brother and grandmother. It was a lovely afternoon where we sat out on the deck eating great food and spending time with great people. We are so grateful to have the Haynes in our lives and we hope to be as blessed as they are with Evan.

Laurel's Bachelorette

Saturday, March 29th was Laurel's Bachelorette party. It was quite the event. We started at 3:30pm in the afternoon at the Westin Hotel in downtown with champagne, snacks and presents. We proceeded on to dinner at Umami in the Marina for what can be called, asian tapas. We did family style and shared a bunch of great dishes. It was an excellent dinner. From there we went to a studio called the S-factor where 8 of us took a pole dancing class. I know it sounds crazy, but it was VERY FUN!!. The girls grabbed a drink with me at City Tavern and then Dave came to pick me up. The girls headed back to the hotel to change and head out to a club for the evening. I went home with my husband as I was done for the night. :) Congrats to Laurel for the upcoming wedding. Congrat to her bridesmaids for putting on one heck of a bachelorette party!!

Presents for the Bride to be.

Although it is hard to tell, this is a candy bra from Alyson. Think candy necklace and you got the idea.

Laurel drinking with the straws we all got in our fun goodie bag. Look closely. ;)
