Date night at Circa

On Friday night, Dave and I decided to take advantage of "Dine About Town" and have dinner at Circa in the Marina. For those of you unfamiliar, Dine about town features a prix-fixe three course meal at various restaurants around the city. In the past, it has been for the month of January. This year, it happened for two weeks in January and two weeks in June. We had a fabulous dinner complete with tomato soup served with tiny grilled cheese sandwiches, spinach salad with goat cheese and raspberries, flat iron steak, pork chop and a special chef's treat of fried ravioli. Everything was homemade. The very best part was the desserts. We shared key lime cheesecake which was very tart and creamy and black and white bread pudding with a Jack Daniels sauce that was brought to the table flaming. Yum!! We walked out of the restaurant incredibly full and with dogie bags.
