Six weeks flew by!

Here are some more photos over the past few weeks.  Time is flying!

Joyce came to bring us lunch and hang out on my birthday.  She also brought a stellar chocolate fudge cake for Mom and me.  Awesome!

Family photo on my 40th birthday.

My second of two birthday cakes.  This one was chocolate cake with a light white frosting from Walnut Creek Baking Company.  Thie cake came after a wonderful sushi dinner.  I had so missed sushi while being pregnant, so it tasted all that much better.  Thank you my wonderful husband!  Yum!

Joshua inherited this shirt from a friend.  We call it his crazy shirt and he loves to wear it with his favorite jeans.  Yes, the kid is already into fashion. :)

Joshua loves to push his brothers in their automatic swings.  We have had to work on gentle pushes though rather than sending the boys flying.

"Hello brother"

Joshua opening presents from Grandma and Grandpa

Yea!  Our first of three date nights while my parents babysat all three boys.  Luckily, the older one stayed fast asleep.

Joshua loves the play mat too.  "Hi baby Colin"  See more on the video below

A visit to the pediatrician at 5.5 weeks.  Shane is now 9 lbs 4 oz and 23 inches long.  Colin weighs 10 lbs 13oz and is also 23 inches.  Good growing boys!
The Jungs came to visit a few weeks ago so the twins could have their first play date.  We had such a fun afternoon.  We even got to have a meal together where everyone had both hands as all four babies and the toddler slept.  No lie!  Many thanks to the Jungs for visiting us!

Proud papa Chris with Nikko

Joshua loved having two more babies around.  Although Nikko wasn't too happy at this particular moment.

Jung and McEwen twins.  Nikko, Shane, Juliana and Colin

Hi Nikko

Hi Juliana

Juliana is ready to get out of here.

Jillian came out on her day off to meet the boys and catch up.  We had a fun lunch and visit!
Jillian is awesome with babies!  Thanks for the help and company!

There was lots of hanging out around the house.
Colin must have let out some serious business.

Tutu and Shane hanging out

Family photo minus Daddy who took the picture.

The boys hanging out on the couch

Joshua insisted on wearing his red socks with his pjs

Joshua enjoyed an Elmo cupcake thanks to Auntie Joyce.
Many, many thanks to my parents who have been invaluable over the past six weeks.  They cooked, cleaned, did the grocery shopping, ran errands, completed house projects, babysat numerous times, cared for, played with and shuttled around Joshua, fed, held and diapered babies, allowed for showers, naps, brushing of teeth and hair, and most importantly provided immense encouragement and support.  You both were and are amazing!  THANK YOU!!!

Two more McEwen boys

Here are some pictures from the first several weeks at home with Colin and Shane. There are also plenty of pictures of big brother Joshua!  I will post newer pictures soon!

Leaving the hospital

Shane in the crib

Alla makes a visit.  Here she is holding Shane.

Alla's beautiful daughter, Julia.

Colin and Shane hanging out on the floor.

"Yup, I am cute."

Joshua LOVES his new basketball hoop.

Shane does not like his first sponge bath at home.

Colin, generally the mellow guy, doesn't mind baths at all.

The whole gang makes it out to the park.  Here Tutu and GG are hanging out while the little boys sleep.

Happy after a meal.

The first excursion with our family of 5 in the same car.

Tutu's birthday lunch at Boudins

Due to some screaming happening, I decided to tandem feed the boys in the car rather than wait until we got home.  A logistical challenge for sure, but I was able to manage with the help of my husband. :)

Our first coffee house outing with all the boys.  We all enjoyed it while the little ones slept.  Joshua was loving his ham and cheese croisant.

The boys chilled on the floor of the coffee house.

The McEwen boys in their first picture of all three.  It is a hard image to capture. :)

Play time on the play mat

Dave and Joshua went to the store so that Dave could make me (and Tutu of course) a Mother's Day dinner one week after the fact.  Joshua delivered some beautiful flowers to me.

Having brothers has been very profitable for Joshua as he has gotten several presents.  Here he is opening the presents from Colin and Shane.  He got a tool set complete with a working drill and a tape measure.

Joshua got a ride on inch worm from Tutu and G.G.

Our second visit from Auntie Joyce.  I failed to capture the first one on film.  Here she is bonding with Shane.
